In the Spring of 2021, Common Molly reached out to me to create a logo for their band. The 4-person classic rock band had many ideas for what the logo should be. The leading idea that came from our conversation was to have an illustration of the common molly in the style of Junji Ito artwork.

This logo would also have 2 usable versions, one dead and one alive. Both needed to be grotesque but not to the point of turning people away. With the goal defined I was able to start sketching!
